Article Writing Provisions

Title: The title is written in Garamond 14 pt, ALL CAPS, centered, and bold. The title must be concise, clear, and not exceed 15 words.

Author’s Name(s): Written under the title in Garamond 12 pt bold, without academic titles and not abbreviated. Institutional affiliation and email addresses are written under the author’s name. The corresponding author is marked with an asterisk (*).

Abstract: Written in English with a length of 150–200 words. The abstract briefly explains the main issue of service, the method of implementation, and the results achieved. It is not a copy of the conclusion. The abstract is typed in Garamond 11 pt, italic, single spacing.

Keywords: 3–6 keywords that reflect the content of the article.

INTRODUCTION: Written in Garamond, 1.5 spacing. The introduction includes the issue and focus of the service, reasons for selecting the program, current and expected conditions, and supporting data from previous studies or service activities. It should also clearly state the purpose, novelty, and usefulness of the manuscript. Citations and references must follow APA Style 7th edition (in-text citation and reference list).

METHODS OF IMPLEMENTATION: Explain the strategy used to achieve the objectives, such as PAR (Participatory Action Research), ABCD (Asset Based Community Development), CBR (Community-Based Research), service learning, community development, or other relevant approaches. Also mention the parties involved (partners), their roles, location, and duration of the activity.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Present the process and dynamics of the service, the activities carried out, and the actions taken to solve community problems. The discussion should relate findings to relevant theories or previous studies. This section should cover about 75–85% of the total article length.

  • Tables: Use font size 12 pt, no vertical lines, and titles placed above the tables.

  • Figures: The figure title must be placed below the figure with the format “Figure 1” in bold.

CONCLUSION: Contains reflections on the service results and recommendations. The conclusion should summarize the findings in a concise paragraph and not merely repeat the discussion.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS: Written before the references. This section should include recognition of funding agencies (with contract numbers, if applicable) and significant contributions from individuals or institutions.

REFERENCES: References must follow APA Style 7th edition. Use 1.5 spacing without extra spaces between entries. All in-text citations must appear in the reference list.
